I noticed that I was also starting to develop emotional numbness and the inability to enjoy things... I have been off SSRIs for years but sexual, emotional and cognitive dysfunction still remain... My emotionally blunting also became extremely severe. I can't even feel anger or grief... I am now an empty shell of a person.
Cause
sertraline/Zoloft at age 15 for anxiety/OCD (~1.5 years); lingering off from 17; Wellbutrin later worsened PSSD and blunting
Duration
on SSRIs ~1.5 years from age 15; off 'for years' at age 23 writing; still ill
Recovery notes
Dropped out of uni from cognitive decline. Never felt sex or been in love. Cognitive pole is dysfunction/decline/empty shell, not classic no inner monologue. Adjacent.
