I suffer from SSRI/ Antipsychotic Induced Anhedonia. The worst symptom I have is nearly a complete emotional blunting and blank mind where it's very debilitating. I have tried rTMS, ketamine infusion, and some other various supplements and medications here and there but to not much avail as of now.
Cause
Reddit r/anhedonia first-person OP u/Particular_Move_6570 (crossposted r/PSSD 1u44ywv — same person, not separately logged): self-described SSRI/Antipsychotic Induced Anhedonia. Attributes nearly complete emotional blunting + blank mind to that drug-induced anhedonia cluster. Specific SSRI/AP names not in available OP excerpt. Unused r/anhedonia BOTH (≠ 1mn1p5k Aristada recovery). Live Reddit quote from search-index OP.
Duration
Duration on/off meds not quantified in available OP excerpt; still debilitating blank+blunting at Jun 2026 posting after failed rTMS/ketamine/supplements/meds trials
Recovery notes
No recovery claimed. Tried rTMS, ketamine infusion, various supplements and medications without avail; asking whether ECT has helped complete blunting/blank mind in others. Replies mixed (third-person caffeinehell ECT windows; cuirousone ECT no help for PSSD). No later OP recovery update in available excerpts.
