Cold turkey quit 14 years of 2mg klonopin use. Terrible brain fog. No cognitive abilities at all. Zero memory. Can’t form sentences. Does the “blank mind” thing go away? I am really terrified by it. I cant hold a thought. I can’t think. My mind is completely blank. No spontaneous thoughts whatsoever. Also no feelings.
Cause
Reddit r/benzorecovery first-person OP: cold-turkey quit after 14 years daily 2 mg Klonopin/clonazepam. Attributes completely blank mind (no spontaneous thoughts / can't hold a thought / can't think) + also no feelings to Klonopin cold-turkey withdrawal. Unused BenzoRecovery BOTH; benzo-only clear gap fill (≠ known wordpress klonopin 82 / Katz BenzoBuddies 146 / dpselfhelp lorazepam 101 / anhedonic56 windows). Live Reddit 403; quote from search-index OP excerpt.
Duration
~3 weeks off at posting after 14 years on 2 mg; still blank+no-feelings at post
Recovery notes
No recovery claimed at ~3 weeks post-CT. Asking if blank mind goes away. Replies said classic CT WD symptom that improves slowly over months; one said xanax CT blank improved a lot over years but never fully gone (not this OP). No later OP recovery update in available excerpts.
