I've been this way for 15 years now... Who else has no emotions, no anxiety, no connection to anything, can't make memories and everything always feels like we are doing it for the first time. Just never feeling there.
Cause
bad panic attack years earlier; framed as DPDR; says they had only some anxiety prior
Duration
15 years at March 2023 posting; no breaks
Recovery notes
Accepted it but still searching. Tried Wellbutrin (little effect) and clomipramine (nausea, dizziness, sexual dysfunction, no benefit). Alcohol/substances also give no emotional effect. Doctors keep calling it depression.

Cause: paroxetine (Seroxat) discontinuation Nov 2014, then Feb panic + ~3 weeks insomnia; thought-process stopped; framed as DP

I went from having a COMPLETELY BLANK MIND to one that's constantly racing... I was still fluent at talking, clearer in my thinking, and feeling emotions when I heard songs/watched movies.

Cause: cannabis at college triggering DP ('huge epiphany'); blank mind, mutism, inability to concentrate
