Cause

finasteride for mild hair thinning; within weeks lost libido + severe memory/executive impairment + anhedonia; discontinued with no change; worsened ~1y10m later with loss of inner monologue. PFS frame. Distinct from Patient #3. Third-person summary of first-person testimony.

Duration

2 years 9 months at June 2023 session; disabled ~10 months before session after late worsening; still ill

Recovery notes

Stable but debilitating ~1y10m then late crash. Cannot read long-form or watch TV due to cognition/memory. Would accept high risk for medium-benefit treatment. No recovery.
